10 – Annapurna
This is a Sanskrit
name and it is mainly used in India and Nepal. Annapurna has height of 8091
meters and it resides in area of Nepal. The first person, who has climbed over
this mountain, was a French person M. Herzog, L. Lachenal. After him many
people have tried for it.
9 – Nanga Parbat
This hill resides into the area of Pakistan. The
name is Hindu, but this mountain resides in Pakistan because of division of
Pakistan from India. Total height of Naga Parbat is around 8,125 meter. At very
first time Hermann Buhl, an Austrian citizen has climbed over this hill. Due to

8 – Manaslu

7 – Dhaulagiri
Dhaulagiri has the unbelievable height of 8,167
meters and this mountain resides in region of Nepal in The Himalaya. At a very
first time a Swiss citizen A. Schelbert has cliembed over this hill and then
many others have tried for it. This is another highest hill of Nepal and it
resides at 7th position in topmost hills of the world.

is about 8,201 meters and still many hill climbers have tried to win it. The
first person, who climbed over it, is H. Tichy an Austrian in 1954. This hill

This hill resides at the height of 8,463 meter and
it resides in region of both India and Nepal. There are many hill climbers have
succeeded in climbing over it. The first person, who has climbed over it was J.
Couzy a French hill climber with his team. This high mountain is at 5th
position in this list.
4 – Lhotse
This hill is established in region of India and
Nepal. It remains at the height of 8,516 meters instead of such a big height of
this mountain, F. Luchsinger has climbed it. This mountain is also a part of
the Great Himalaya and it is at the 4th position in top 10 highest
hills of the world.
3 – Kangchenjunga
This hill is an incredible part of India. It is at
the height of 8,596 meters. There are only few persons, who have climbed over
this hill. G. Band a hill climber of United Kingdom has done it at first time. This
hill is at the 3rd position in top 10 highest hills of the world.
2 – K2 (Godwin Austen)
This hill comes in the region of Pakistan and China.
It has height of 8,611 meters and that’s why it is the 2nd highest
hill of the world. At first time an Italian hill climber has won this hill and
his name is A. Compagnoni. K2 is at 2nd position in top 10 highest
mountains of the world.

first time a New-Zealander hill climber Edmund Hillary has won this highest
mountain of the world in 1953. After him some more people have tried for it. Many
